About Us

I am a former Saint Lucie County Sheriff's Deputy with nearly a decade of experience in the care, custody, and management of inmates, as well as providing excellent customer service and maintaining peace at the local county jail Rock Road. I approach my work with a positive attitude and an easy-going personality, enabling me to go above and beyond for others, even strangers. As a result, I garnered the respect of both deputies and inmates alike.

Despite the challenges inherent in working in a correctional facility, I have always prioritized respect for others, which has earned me respect in return. Throughout my tenure, I diligently followed all policies, procedures, and guidelines while maintaining order in the facility. My record of service to the Saint Lucie County Sheriff's Office fills me with pride.

My belief that communication is key to accomplishing tasks enabled me to work seamlessly alongside both deputies and inmates. As a kitchen manager, I oversaw the daily serving of meals to approximately 1200 inmates, working closely with Aramark staff to ensure that everything ran smoothly. My partner and I collaborated to manage deliveries, clothing changes, food orders, and inmate safety. We also organized and catered various events, including church events and those held at the Sunrise Theatre in Fort Pierce, further showcasing my commitment to exceptional service.

As a member of the Emergency Response Team, I received extensive training in riot control, cell extractions, and hostage negotiations, among other areas. I have also pursued incentive classes, including Field Training Officer, Report Writing, and Spanish for Law Enforcement. In 2014, I returned to college to become dual-certified as a Law Enforcement officer.

Throughout my career at the Saint Lucie County Sheriff's Office, I received numerous awards for outstanding service, which reflects my deep passion for helping people. As the people's Sheriff, I am confident that, with my knowledge of the community and its members, we can work together to achieve great things.
