TROY, Mich., October 6, 2025 – Rehmann, a fully integrated professional advisory firm, is proud to announce that Maher Faik, CPA, a Principal in the CFO Group, has been recognized as one of Crain’s Detroit Business’ 40 Under 40 award recipients for 2025.
Faik, who has been with Rehmann for the past 10 years, chose an entrepreneurial path prior to becoming a trusted advisor at Rehmann. He began his career at Ernst & Young, later pivoted to owning & operating restaurants and starting a real estate company. Faik draws on his experience of business operations coupled with his accounting background to advise a wide range of privately held companies at Rehmann.
“Maher exemplifies Rehmann’s entrepreneurial spirit,” said Stacie Kwaiser, Chief Executive Officer of Rehmann. “The care he takes with his clients, establishing trust and getting to know them and their families, demonstrates the value of our people-first philosophy. We’re very proud of Maher and his accomplishments, and on behalf of the entire team, I am delighted to offer my congratulations to him for this well-deserved accolade.”
Faik credited the firm’s culture centered on “Empower your Purpose” and being “Obsessed with Clients Success” as a driving force to empowering his purpose at Rehmann.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business, and I’m grateful to Rehmann for the culture of fostering personal growth. It’s a great place to be,” said Faik. “‘Empower Your Purpose’ and being ‘Obsessed with Client Success’ aren’t just phrases here; they’ve empowered me to be myself, which in turn allows me to empower my clients. I have the resources and support I need to help them succeed. Many people at Rehmann and beyond have given me guidance and inspiration, and I hope to pay that forward by giving back to others.”
Faik is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is actively involved in the community, volunteering with Friends of Foster Kids and participating in 100 Millennials Who Care.
