A Must Watch: Americans Are Trafficking
Their Own Children
|
|
Child trafficking is not a distant problem—it is happening in our own backyard.
It is happening in our own backyard. Children are being exploited every day, hidden in plain sight.
Every child deserves safety, love, and hope—but for too many, exploitation and trafficking are their reality. These kids are not statistics; they are our neighbors, classmates, and community members.
They need safety, stability, and a place to heal. 💙
That is why Place of Hope exists—to be a refuge for vulnerable children, giving them the safety, support, and future they deserve.
Thanks to incredible friends and supporters like Rob and so many others, Place of Hope has been able to serve for 25 years vulnerable children and survivors of exploitation—bringing safety, healing, and prevention with tremendous success.
But there are still more kids who need us. Together, we can end the cycle of abuse and give them back their hope. 💙

A Bond That Carried Them Through Some of Their Toughest Days |
|
This summer, we got to witness a truly special reunion. 💙
A single mom of four—whose children once lived in our family-style cottages—was joyfully reunified with her kids. Because of your support and our Neighborhood Foster Care model, these siblings were able to stay together while in our care. That bond carried them through some of their toughest days.
Now, as they start this new chapter, we were honored to walk alongside Mom to help her transition smoothly. From providing material essentials for a fresh start, to making sure her children are heading back to school with brand-new uniforms, backpacks, and supplies—your generosity made it possible.
This grateful mother keeps in touch with her children’s former cottage parents, and she shared: “Place of Hope is my extended family.”
Because of YOU, families are finding healing, children are thriving, and moms are empowered to build brighter futures. |
|
This powerful testimony is just one of the countless stories being written every day because of YOU.
When you support Place of Hope, you are not just giving shelter—you are helping creating healing moments, fresh starts, and lifelong hope for children, youth, and families who need it most.
Every hug, every smile, every milestone reached—it all begins with your generosity and belief that change is possible.
Together, we are turning brokenness into beauty. Thank you for being part of this mission. |

Focus on Hope - Where Are We This Week?
|
|
Barber’s Edge is more than just a place to get a haircut.
For our boys, it is a place to feel valued, seen, and to grow. With Joe and his team as mentors, they get more than a hair cut - they learn about accountability, responsibility, and entrepreneurship.
Some of our boys have even had the opportunity to intern at the shop, gaining hands-on experience and learning the value of hard work and a strong work ethic.
We are so grateful for partners like Barber’s Edge who pour into the lives of our youth, helping to shape confident, capable young men ready to thrive. 🙌 |
