Evergreen Nurses Visits Hospice
Recently, our nursing team had the pleasure of meeting with more than 30 Treasure Coast Hospice case managers and nurses in Fort Pierce. It was an opportunity to celebrate our longstanding community partnership while exploring new ways home care and hospice can work hand in hand for families.
Like two pieces of a well-crafted puzzle, each service brings something essential to create a more complete circle of support for families when they need it most.
Championed by our Chief Nursing Officer, Amanda Snyder, BSN, RN, the meetings were a tremendous success, reinforcing just how closely our missions align. We look forward to working alongside our hospice partners, at the bedside and beyond, for many more years to come. |

Whether you are planning a family visit, attending a holiday celebration, traveling, or simply expecting changes to your regular routine, please let your Evergreen care team know as early as possible.
Advance notice helps us coordinate schedules, communicate with your caregivers, and ensure you and your loved one have the support you need—making the busy holiday season less stressful and allowing everyone to focus on what matters most: spending quality time with family and friends. |

A Fond Farewell & Welcome!
At American House in Wildwood, where Evergreen is proud to serve residents, we are saying a heartfelt goodbye to a very special member of our caregiving family. Shelby, our first resident caregiver at the community, has provided exceptional care and has become like an extended family member to many of the residents, families, and our Evergreen team.
As Shelby prepares to move back home to Ohio, we could not be more grateful for the time, compassion, and dedication she has given to our clients. Luckily, Shelby gave us the opportunity to carefully search for and train the next caregiver, to fill her shoes and her scrubs!
Please join us in welcoming Jefferdine to the Evergreen team. We are excited to have her caring for our clients and look forward to watching her build the same meaningful relationships that have made Shelby so beloved at American House. |

Working For Our Veterans
Earlier this month, the Ocala Clinical Team had the opportunity to participate in an in-service with the National Association of Veteran & Families, learning more about the VA Aid & Attendance pension benefit that may be available to Veterans, their spouses, and surviving spouses.
The most important takeaway was the value of collaboration.
Many Veterans and families are unaware of benefits and resources that could help them access the care and support they need. That is why it is so important for healthcare providers, community organizations, referral partners, and Veteran advocates to work together, sharing knowledge, connecting families to resources, and helping ensure no Veteran falls through the cracks.
This work is not simply about growing a business. As a Veteran Owned and Operated agency, It is about honoring those who came before us, served our country, and made sacrifices on our behalf.
Together, we can do more for those who have done so much for us. |
