Dear Fellow Floridian,
As you celebrate with your loved ones and enjoy fireworks and cookouts, I invite you to pause and reflect on how blessed we are to live in the United States – a beacon for freedom and democracy around the world.
Growing up, my mom always reminded us that we live in the best country in the world, where anything is possible with hard work, determination, and a good education. She was right. I’ve had the privileged of living the American Dream, and thanks to President Trump’s America-first policies, families across the nation are able to live their American Dream, too.
Today, we also remember that these freedoms and opportunities do not come without great sacrifice. May we honor the brave men and women in uniform who serve or have served our nation to defend the very freedoms we enjoy today. We can never thank them enough.
May God bless you, may God bless our troops, and may God bless America!
Sincerely,
Rick Scott
United States Senator
