to Reflect Expansion into the Treasure Coast
West Palm Beach, FL — The Urban League of Palm Beach County proudly announces its new name, Urban League of Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast (ULPBCTC), marking a significant milestone in the organization's continued growth and commitment to expanding opportunities for individuals and families throughout the region. The new name reflects the organization's strategic expansion of programs and services into Florida's Treasure Coast, extending its reach to residents in Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River counties, while maintaining its longstanding commitment to serving Palm Beach County.
For more than 53 years, the Urban League of Palm Beach County has addressed its region’s most pressing challenges through comprehensive programs focused on workforce development, affordable housing, financial literacy, youth education, health and wellness, entrepreneurship, and family support. Each year, the organization serves thousands of residents through initiatives that promote economic mobility, strengthen families, and improve quality of life.
The expanded regional presence positions the ULPBCTC to deepen partnerships with community leaders, businesses, agencies, and philanthropic organizations to address critical needs across Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. Patrick Franklin, President & CEO of the Urban League of Palm Beach County & Treasure Coast said, “As we expand our reach to the Treasure Coast, we are creating greater opportunities for communities to access economic, social, and civic opportunities through education, advocacy, and training. This geographic expansion reflects our commitment to helping communities connect more residents with education, resources, advocacy, and support they need to achieve economic self-sufficiency and long-term success. While our name has changed, our goal remains the same, creating pathways to opportunity that transform lives."
Over the coming months, the organization will introduce its new name and brand identity across its website, social media platforms, marketing materials, and community outreach initiatives. The updated branding reflects ULPBCTC's broader regional footprint while honoring more than five decades of service and impact.
