Chief Zenelovic has earned the respect of his peers and the trust of the community through his steady professionalism, thoughtful decision-making, and unwavering integrity. I look forward to working with him in this new capacity and am confident he will lead our department with distinction.
Please join me in congratulating Chief Zenelovic on his well-deserved appointment."

It's National Public Works Week

Ever wonder what the Public Works Department really does?
They’re the unsung heroes keeping our city running like clockwork! From patching potholes and paving roads to installing signs, painting crosswalks, grooming our beautiful parks, managing stormwater drains, filling sandbags during storms and clearing debris and downed trees afterwards, maintaining city vehicles, keeping city offices clean and repaired, and even running the city TRAM —they do it ALL. Check out the video below to see them in action.
Rain or shine (or tropical storm or hurricane!), these dedicated pros are out there making sure our streets stay safe and accessible for everyone—drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
A huge THANK YOU to the incredible City of Stuart Public Works team! You’re not just keeping the city moving—you’re the backbone, the heartbeat, and total rockstars of our community.
