What a night to remember.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Environmental Stewardship Awards. It was truly a special evening celebrating the people and organizations working every day to protect and enhance Martin County.
Held on April 30 at Willoughby Golf Club, the event brought together more than 175 community leaders, environmental advocates, educators, students, business professionals, volunteers and residents, all united by a shared commitment to preserving the natural resources and character that define our community.
What made the evening especially memorable was the incredible mix of people gathered in one room. Environmental advocates connected with business leaders, educators, local government representatives, nonprofit organizations, students and families, representing the broad coalition of people helping move Martin County forward in meaningful ways.
Throughout the evening, we honored individuals, businesses and organizations whose work demonstrates the many forms environmental stewardship can take, from conservation and education to beautification, innovation, sustainable business practices and community improvement.
Events like this remind us that protecting and preserving Martin County takes all of us. It is the collective effort, partnership and passion of our community that creates lasting impact for future generations.
We are grateful to celebrate alongside such an inspiring community and proud to recognize those making a meaningful difference every day.
