Success Connection: A Look at Helping People Succeed 4/7/2026

April 6th, 2026

8th Edition

From the Desk of Kara Stimpson, President and CEO

This month I write in thanks to all those who have reached out in excitement as we have rolled out our bold new Vision, Mission, Model and Values.  And now it is time to unveil our vibrant new logo to accompany this!
I hope in our logo you see our focus of providing services across the lifespan while wrapping around those we serve on their journey to success.
Along with this excitement, we are in the season where we are looking for your support to reach our fund development goals ensuring we are able to bridge the gap between the cost of service and our available funds from grants, contracts and fee-for-service.  I hope you will consider supporting in one of these ways over this month.
Sponsor or participate in our inaugural 5K Strides for Success at Clover Park in Port St. Lucie.  Funds raised through this event go directly to supporting our operational needs for all service areas! Find more information below.
Sponsor a camper!  This year, we are operating 9 summer programs for school-aged youth needing a more structured, therapeutic environment where they not only have a fun-filled summer, but also receive their mental health therapy, practice social skills, and prepare for the next school year, ensuring they have a safe and productive summer!  With your support, we will be able to serve hundreds of campers across our 3-county service area who often can’t find success at more traditional summer camps.
$1,400 Can Change a Life!
Give a child a safe place to grow, learn, and gain skills for lifelong success. Your support provides opportunities, guidance, and experiences that make a lasting impact.
Make a difference today – sponsor a camper and help them thrive! ---->

Community Needs Assessment

Help us get community and client feedback!  As part of our evolution as ONE agency, we are launching more group services for our current and new clients from ANY program or service area.
Before we start, we want to the feedback from the community.  Please help us gather that feedback by taking this short survey.  The survey is open now and will close April 15th.

Upcoming Events for Impact
We need your help to make our Strides to Success 5K Run and Walk a huge success. Please take a moment to share this event with your friends, family members, and community partners. Your personal outreach helps us expand our impact and bring more people into the mission of Helping People Succeed.
We are welcoming both runners and walkers, as well as a Kid Run! We are also seeking community sponsors who want to support this event and the individuals and families we serve.
Participants will also receive a special opportunity to attend a $5 baseball game (showing your finisher medal) with the St. Lucie Mets on May 12, making this a fun way for our community to come together in support of a great cause.
Check out our Facebook event page and share it from your personal account with any groups you belong to. Your support helps us spread the word and grow registrations.

Something to Talk About

All Things Branding!!

As Kara mentioned, we have NEW BRANDING, and it is officially being rolled out! Our goal is to have our new brand fully implemented throughout our agency and for all community interactions by end of this month.
It is all about CONSISTENCY!!
Thank you for your support in helping us expand our reach across the Treasure Coast. With our new Vision, Mission, Model, and Core Values, we aim to grow our footprint, serve more individuals and families, and secure the financial support that enables us to do the incredible work we do for our community.
You can help us by staying engaged with our socials, supporting our upcoming events, and participating by becoming a volunteer. We couldn't do it without you.
Speaking of volunteering we have a begun a new way to volunteer with the Success Network. Our next VIRTUAL orientation is April 13th at 2:00 PM. Sign up by filling out this form and check out the Teams link here.
Did you know we used color psychology when choosing the colors for our new brand? Check it out, you might be surprised at what your favorite color says about you!

  • Blue: Trust, security, stability, and calmness
  • Green: Health, growth, nature, and sustainability
  • Orange: Enthusiasm, creativity, affordability, and youthfulness
  • Yellow: Optimism, warmth, cheerfulness
  • Purple: Luxury, royalty, wisdom, and mystery. Often used for premium, high-quality products.

Celebrating Our Team: Rookie of the Year!

Kara and Laura Novetti at All Staff Convening Day, March 6, 2026
We’re excited to share a special moment from our All Staff Convening Day on March 6! Our very own Laura Novetti was honored as Rookie of the Year, and we couldn’t be prouder.
Laura’s dedication, positivity, and willingness to step in and support her colleagues in so many ways make her an invaluable part of the Helping People Succeed team. Her reliability and upbeat spirit inspire confidence in everyone around her, and it’s no surprise that so many of her teammates nominated her for this recognition.
Helping People Succeed is lucky to have Laura on board, and we are grateful for the energy, care, and professionalism she brings to every interaction.
Congratulations, Laura, on this well-deserved honor!
