Our Martin County Tax Certficate sale for unpaid 2023 real property taxes will be available starting on May 15,2024 at 8:00 am and closing on June 1, 2024 at 1:00 pm. The sale will be conducted on the tax collector’s tax certificate auction website, Lienhub.com.
Bidders can review the advertised list of unpaid real property taxes and submit bids on the website starting on May 15, 2024. These tax certificates will recover the unpaid 2023 unpaid property taxes.
The tax certificate sale is not a sale for the purchase of the property, but the purchase of a lien for the delinquent taxes, interest, costs, and charges for the property described in the certificate. The sale operates on a competitive bid basis with interest bids beginning at 18% and progressing downward in 0.25% increments. The lowest bid wins the certificate.
