The lack of affordable and accessible childcare options poses challenges for working parents.
Big picture: At the same time that families struggle to make sure their kids have quality care, businesses have trouble finding workers. Improving America’s childcare system can solve both these challenges. That’s why the U.S. Chamber is collaborating with policymakers to enhance accessibility and affordability.

What we’re doing:

  • The U.S. Chamber brought business leaders to Washington, D.C., in February. They advocated for expanding existing federal programs that encourage businesses to make childcare more accessible.

Bottom line: Access to affordable childcare is a personal issue for families. The U.S. Chamber understands this and is working to make sure parents have the support system they need.
