Happy Monday Everyone!
Week 8 of Session is complete!
Hundreds of bills had movement throughout the House and the Senate as we are wrapping up 2026. This past week was packed with back-to-back session: long hours, discussions, debate, and voting! As we move beyond this session, my office remains committed to continuing that work. Thank you for your continued involvement and partnership in shaping the future of our community. | A huge thank you to Greg Black for presenting me with the ‘Powering Florida Forward’ award! The Florida First Resilience and Energy Alliance is a coalition of Floridians which aims to address the energy and environmental challenges of today that are guided by the principles of conservatism and limited government. Working alongside as a founding member has been an honorable experience. |
I have had the pleasure to work alongside Speaker Pro Tem Duggan the past 8 years. He has been a great friend, member, and partner who has served Florida well. His farewell speech was admirable and he will be missed in the House.
