| Senator Rick Scott released the trailer for his new ‘American Dream at Work’ series, which highlights the stories of Florida entrepreneurs, their businesses, and the incredible work they’re doing to grow jobs and contribute to their communities. Senator Scott lived his American Dream - from growing up in public housing, to owning businesses, becoming Governor of Florida, and U.S. Senator, he continues working tirelessly to ensure every American has the same opportunity to live their American Dream. Senator Rick Scott said, “Growing up, my mom always told us how blessed we were to live in the greatest country in the world, where anybody willing to work hard could achieve their American Dream. She was right – I worked hard, opened my first business, and turned my entire life around to live my dreams. Unfortunately, it’s not as easy for someone growing up like I did to get ahead today. The failures of Washington politicians have created disastrous consequences for our country. Today, even our brightest minds and hardest workers are facing bigger barriers to success due to burdensome regulations and higher living costs.
