As you may know, Children's Advocacy Centers rely on federal grants to provide critical services for children impacted by abuse. However, a new executive order issued on January 28, 2025, has placed a temporary freeze on federal funding, including grants that directly support CACs nationwide. We are already under heavy financial pressure due to prior Federal funding. With this new federal freeze, the situation has become even more dire. Without immediate action and support, the services that ensure child safety, trauma recovery, and justice may face devastating limitations.
