Calling all skateboarders! Join us for an epic Teen Skate Jam filled with music, tricks, and good fun. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or just starting out, this is your chance to shred the park and show your moves. This event is free and open to Martin County elementary, middle and high school students ages 5-18 who live in Martin County or attend a Martin County school. Pre-registration is recommended, limited day of registrations may be available. YOUTH & TEEN ONLY EVENT.
When: Sat, Feb 22, 2025, 6-8 p.m. (Check in and Warmups start at 5pm)
Where: Pat Mark Rio-Jensen Skate Park, Langford Park
Skaters are invited to select one of two categories – beginner or advanced, and will compete in their respective age brackets:
- 5 to 9 years old
- 10 to 14 years old
- 15 to 18 years old

WALK WITH EASE PROGRAM - THE LOG CABIN

Calling all 50+ Active Adults - Join us for the Walk With Ease program, a proven program designed to treat and prevent arthritis through walking. This program, in partnership with the National Recreation and Parks Association, will take place every Tuesday and Thursday morning, beginning February 25th at 9am at Indian Riverside Park. The group will be meeting every Tuesday at Indian RiverSide Park and on Thursdays we will be meeting at the Log Cabin and walking Langford Park. For specific meeting locations please contact the Log Cabin.
Not only will you get more physical, but you will learn strategies for arthritis management, with a focus on safe and effective walking techniques. In addition to the in-person group sessions, there’s a self-paced component available. The group will be walking together 2x per week with some self-paced activities as well. Inquire at the Log Cabin for more details on how to participate fully at your own pace if that is also more your speed.

Fire Extinguisher Simulator Demonstration w/MC Fire Rescue
Josh Jenkins is a state certified Fire Safety Inspector, Fire Life Safety Educator II, and a Nationally Registered EMT at Martin County Fire Rescue Dept. He will bring in his fire extinguisher simulator for a fun, interactive training class that will prepare attendees to safely use a fire extinguisher in an emergency situation. For those that are able, Josh asks you to please bring in your fire extinguishers from home, so he can perform a free fire safety inspection on them, to ensure operational function. Spots are limited, please call to reserve a seat.
Treasure Coast Food Bank
