Dear Fellow Floridian,
On December 7th, we remember the attack on Pearl Harbor and honor those who were tragically killed 83 years ago. Last year, I was honored to visit the USS Arizona and pay my respects in person to those who lost their lives in the tragic attack on December 7, 1941.
As a Navy veteran myself and the son of a World War II veteran, I know firsthand the sacrifices our veterans, military members and their families make to defend our freedom. Our veterans truly represent the best of what it means to be an American.
Today, and every day, let us honor and remember the thousands of men and women who lost their lives defending our freedoms at Pearl Harbor.
Sincerely,
Rick Scott
United States Senator
