FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Stuart, FL - Martin County High School's National Honor Society (NHS) is making this holiday season unforgettable for three local families through its 2024 Adopt-A-Family event, which will take place on Wednesday, December 18, from 3:20 to 5:00 p.m. in the school’s café.
This year, NHS is going all out, adopting three families with a total of 13 children, ranging in age from 1.5 to 14 years old, and their parents. Among the families is a fellow Tiger family from Martin County High School. With over $3,000 raised, NHS members have purchased more than 50 gifts, carefully selected to match each family member’s needs and wishes.
NHS and Best Buddies members will spend the afternoon wrapping the gifts and writing personal, heartfelt notes to each family member. These gifts, which range from toys to clothing and gift cards, will provide holiday cheer and show these families that they are supported by their community.
This annual event has become a beloved tradition for NHS, and this year’s expanded program is a testament to the students’ commitment to giving back.
Members of the media are encouraged to attend this heartwarming event to capture the spirit of giving and hear from student leaders about their efforts to make a difference.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Derek Lowe, Coordinator of Public Information & Community Relations, at (772) 260-4072.
