ATTN Floridians! Learn More About SSA's Online Portal, my Social Security
U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) Commissioner Frank J. Bisignano has announced expanded access to the SSA online portal, my Social Security to better serve Americans.
Thanks to the Trump Administration, and the work of Commissioner Bisignano, my Social Security now provides you with full-time access to your Social Security information online and allows individuals to request replacement cards online rather than having to visit a field office to do so. An online my Social Security account provides you with personalized tools, whether you receive benefits or not. Please find more information from SSA HERE or below.

How to create a personal my Social Security account?
First you’ll need to decide whether to create a Login.gov or an ID.me account. There is no wrong choice, it’s just a matter of which account is the best fit for you. Watch the How to Choose Your Sign-in Account for my Social Security video for more information.

For step-by-step instructions for creating each account type, watch:
  • How to Create Your Login.gov Account with SSA
  • How to Create Your ID.me Account with SSA
If you need additional assistance in creating your account, call 1-800-772-1213 and say “Help Desk” for priority service between 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday.
