FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Library inspires community to give the gift of reading
STUART, Fla. (November 4) – The Martin County Library System with support from the Friends of the Martin County Library System, Inc. are delighted to host the annual Season’s Readings program with a goal of delivering 400 books to 3-to-5-year-olds enrolled in a Martin County program with the Early Learning Coalition.
Beginning November 1, patrons are invited to visit their local library and select a gift tag bearing a child’s first name and age. Using a provided book list, patrons can purchase an age-appropriate, non-religious hardcover book from their preferred retailer. The book and gift tag should be returned to the library by or before December 7, at which point volunteers will wrap the books before they are delivered to the children.
