Help Region 4 Bring Home the Karaoke Crown
The FHBA BUILD PAC Regional Rumble Karaoke Battle hits the stage Thursday, November 5, at Fall Conference in Pensacola Beach. Seven regions compete, and Gigi Campos of the Space Coast is singing for Region 4, which includes TCBA.
The region that raises the most by Tuesday, November 3, goes straight to the finals. Region 4 has ground to make up. A gift of $25, $50 or $100 moves us up the leaderboard, and every dollar supports BUILD PAC’s advocacy for our industry in Washington, D.C. You don’t need to attend Fall Conference to give. |
| If you’re headed to Fall Conference, cheer for Gigi at Red Fish Blue Fish on Thursday night and bring a little extra. Live add-ons start at $15 for a song in the hat and run up to the $1,000 Golden Mic, which puts an FHBA senior officer on stage. |

Indian River County Building Division Moves Plans Examiner of the Day
The Indian River County Building Division has moved its Plans Examiner of the Day to a hybrid walk-in and appointment schedule. The new hours took effect September 28, 2026.
Walk-in service runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon with no appointment needed. Afternoons from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. are appointment only, booked through a calendar on the Building Division’s website or by calling the office. The division says the split gives examiners uninterrupted time for plan reviews and statutory review timeframes.
For contractors working in Indian River County, use the morning window for quick questions. Book an afternoon slot for a specific permit, a plan review comment or a code question, and bring the permit or application number.

The TCBA PAC has announced its endorsements for the November 3 General Election. Each candidate completed a review and evaluation process with the TCBA PAC committee.
