We are so grateful and excited to announce The Lane Family has committed a very generous gift naming our Family Village on our Bender Family Campus in Stuart! Our Lane Family Village is comprised of four complexes that, once built out, will serve daily a minimum of 64 aged-out foster care youth, otherwise homeless youth, and single mothers with children and survivors of human trafficking. Each of the four transitional housing complexes will have a total of eight "cottages" or apartments. Each cottage, a two-bedroom/two-bathroom apartment, will house two residents and offer independent life skills and comprehensive supportive services.
Thanks to a generous lead gift from John & Bobbi Erbey, the Stuart Campus has been named The Bender Family Campus, and the first of four new complexes within the Lane Family Village has been named, The Snyder Family Complex. The Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation and the Smith Brothers Family Foundation have also committed generous gifts naming our second of four transitional housing complexes in our Lane Family Village, the Smith Brothers Family Foundation Complex.
Six of the eight apartment style cottages in the Snyder Family Complex have been named thanks to the generosity of:
Chuck & Diane Hanlon Cottage
The Gary & Vivienne Player Foundation Cottage
Helping Hands Foundation Cottage
Ambassador Impact Cottage A
Ambassador Impact Cottage B
Johnny & Terry Gray Cottage
Units 7 and 8 in the Snyder Family Complex, and the eight cottage units in Smith Brothers Family Foundation Complex are available for naming (as of 11/8/24).

The Season of Giving is Upon Us! |
|
|
For some children, this will be their first Christmas or Hanukkah ever. You can give the gift of joy and wonderment as brighter traditions begin!
We love the holidays, and we want to make them special for those in our care and in our community. Place of Hope serves thousands of children, youth, and families throughout the year and during the holiday season. Many who call Place of Hope “home” will celebrate Hanukkah or Christmas for the very first time. This holiday season is an opportunity for us provide them joy, faith, hope, and love.
For our children in our Neighborhood Foster Care cottages, they will celebrate the joy of the season in a safe and loving home with their foster siblings and Cottage parents making new traditions from cooking together to opening gifts together. For our young adults, homeless youth and single moms, a warm bed surrounded by friends and new family is just the beginning. These youth will also experience learning how to make their own traditions as they grow into healthy independence, including how to make traditional holiday meals for their own future families! Finally, for the families in our community in crisis, we are continuing to bring them hope and love through not only critical material support, but also holiday gifts, and food.
With full bellies and eyes bright, our families will experience a miraculous holiday thanks to your generosity.

Ensuring Every Child's Health and Safety
Homelessness greatly affects the future of a child. Homeless children are at twice the risk of repeating a grade and are much more likely to face higher rates of learning disabilities. At Place of Hope, we are committed to breaking this cycle by providing each child with the stability and education they need to succeed.
This November, in recognition of National Homelessness Month, we stand with every child who deserves a future filled with opportunity. Join us in providing vital educational resources and support systems to children in need. Your support will help empower the next generation and give every child the chance to break free from the cycle of homelessness.
Visit placeofhope.com/donate to be part of this meaningful change. Together, we can ensure a brighter future for vulnerable children. |

Fall Festival Means Fun Memories!
At Place of Hope, we believe that every child deserves the joy and warmth of family traditions, especially during the fall season. Recently, our cottages came together for a vibrant Fall Festival, celebrating this festive time of year with a variety of fun activities. Each family received hay and supplies to create their own unique scarecrow friends, bringing personal touches and creativity to their cottage lawns. In addition to scarecrow decorating, families enjoyed an afternoon filled with bounce houses, Twister games, carnival booths, and an exciting football toss—bringing laughter and joy to children and parents alike.
This special festival offered families the chance to bond, play, and make cherished memories together. The friendly competition for the best scarecrow, with a prize package of movie passes awaiting the winning family, added even more excitement to the day. Moments like these help create a sense of belonging, safety, and joy that every child deserves to experience, making Place of Hope a true home.
Support our mission to provide these meaningful family-centered experiences for all children at Place of Hope. Your generosity ensures that each child can enjoy the warmth, love, and traditions that make childhood truly special. Together, we can make every season memorable. Thank you for being a part of our family! |

Inspiring Hope and Curiosity in Young Learners
|
|
In honor of National STEM Day, we are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the amazing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) experiences that have inspired our youth here at Place of Hope. STEM represents the fields that fuel innovation, drive discovery, and shape the future, and we are dedicated to providing our children with opportunities to explore these exciting areas.
Recently, our Junior Career Day brought STEM to life through hands-on activities and interactive learning, led by inspiring educators like Jennifer Arrington from Jupiter Christian School. With engaging experiments and practical applications, our children were able to immerse themselves in the wonders of STEM, discovering that their futures are filled with limitless potential. These experiences not only sparked curiosity but also encouraged our youth to explore new interests, build self-confidence, and envision careers in fields that shape our world.
At Place of Hope, we believe that every child deserves the chance to dream big and reach their full potential. We are committed to fostering a love for learning and empowering young minds to see themselves as future leaders, creators, and problem-solvers. |

Thank you to all who support our mission to create a brighter future where every child can thrive, learn, and grow. |
