Stuart, FL - The Martin County School District (MCSD) has been named the #6 School District in Florida by Niche, a leading platform that provides comprehensive data on schools and communities across the U.S.
In addition to ranking in the top 10 statewide, the Martin County School District outranked all other Treasure Coast school districts, including St. Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee counties. The District also surpassed its neighboring district to the south, the Palm Beach County School District.
“We are incredibly proud of this recognition,” shared Superintendent Michael Maine. “Our students, teachers, staff, and community have worked together to create a nurturing environment that fosters growth, both academically and personally. This ranking is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.”
This achievement highlights the district’s commitment to academic excellence, innovative programs, and ensuring student success both inside and outside the classroom. MCSD’s ranking was determined by Niche’s data-driven evaluation, which considers a variety of factors, including but not limited to:
- Academic performance and standardized test scores.
- Student and parent reviews.
- Teacher quality.
- Graduation rates and college readiness.
- Access to extracurricular activities.
