For the 8th Consecutive Year, the Number of Florida Children in Poverty Declines

I hope your new year is off to a great start! Last month, the Florida Chamber Foundation analyzed Florida's latest poverty numbers, reflecting that "714,768 Florida children are living in poverty, a significant decrease of 218,852 children since the launch of the Florida Prosperity Project in 2016 and a reduction of 22,799 over the last year alone." I recently sat down for a deep dive into these numbers and what they mean for Florida in a reaction video with our Foundation's EVP Kyle Baltuch. I'd like to share it with you HERE and kindly ask you to share it with your network. Although poverty in Florida is moving in the right direction, there is still much work to do.
