| Dear Fellow Floridian, Throughout the year, my office is proud to offer internships for college students, recent college graduates, and other young leaders who are looking to learn more about serving their community by interning at one of our offices across the state. The purpose of my internship program is to give interns firsthand knowledge of how the Senate operates and the opportunity to develop skills communicating with constituents. Meeting the bright young men and women who intern in my office each year is one of my favorite parts of my job, and it always gives me hope for the future of our country! The basic internships program consists of three components:
