| January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month |
|
Human trafficking and child exploitation are not just overseas issues. They are happening right here — in our communities, our neighborhoods, our schools, and even our homes.
Traffickers often begin with grooming — slowly building trust, offering attention, gifts, or validation. Sometimes it looks harmless. Sometimes it happens entirely online.
👉 Do you know who your children or teens are really interacting with — in person and digitally?
Without realizing it, traffickers can gain access to children through social media, gaming platforms, and messaging apps. Knowledge is power, and awareness is critical to protecting innocence.
Place of Hope is on the front lines of the fight against human trafficking in Palm Beach County, working every day to prevent exploitation, protect at-risk youth, and care for survivors.
We need you to join us and Christin today.

$1 Million Raised in One Night for Villages of Hope
Palm Beach’s most generous philanthropists gather for the inaugural Palm Beach Dinner, fueling the final push for transformational housing
Villages of Hope, the independent living arm of Place of Hope serving young adults aging out of foster care, homeless youth, and young single mothers in crisis, hosted an intimate yet unforgettable, sold-out evening at the iconic Colony Hotel, welcoming 140 hand-selected philanthropists and community leaders for its Inaugural Palm Beach Dinner. In a single night, the event raised more than $1 million.
The dinner was co-chaired by Christy Hamilton, Liz Wolcott, Kim Goodwin, and Kim Younes, an inspiring group of next-generation civic and philanthropic leaders. The evening marked Place of Hope’s 25th year protecting children, restoring families, and breaking cycles of trauma, while helping drive the final capital push for the Family Village on the Sam and Connie Frankino KidSanctuary Campus.
The night centered on one urgent truth: safety and stability change everything, especially for young adults aging out of foster care, homeless youth, single mothers with children in crisis, and survivors of human trafficking. The Frankino KidSanctuary Campus will serve as a safe landing place, providing stability, support, and a clear path forward for those rebuilding their lives with dignity.
During the program, Founding CEO and Board Member Charles Bender announced that Place of Hope once again received a perfect score from Charity Navigator and was named 2025 Nonprofit of the Year by the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce. He also shared a major milestone for the Frankino KidSanctuary Campus: three of the four required permits for the affordable transitional housing triplexes were approved this week, bringing the vision one step closer to reality. The announcement was met with resounding applause.
One of the night’s most exciting moments came during the live auction, as Jonathan Duerr, serving as both emcee and auctioneer, energized the room during a standout $150,000 custom experience by Palm Beach-based fine art photographer Nathan Coe. Known internationally for cinematic, painterly photography and exclusive collector-level commissions, Coe’s work is celebrated for its emotional depth, rarity, and ability to capture place and story in extraordinary ways.
A tremendous wave of generosity fueled the evening in support of Villages of Hope, including Michelle Hagerty; Kimberly and Scott Goodwin; The Hesse and Shleifer Foundations; Liz and William Wolcott; Holly A. Cardinale and The Tannenbaum Family; Christy and Nate Hamilton; Kate Lubin and Glen Sutton; Moss Construction; Kim and Greg Richter; and Kim and Sam Younes, among others.
Supporting the co-chairs in making the evening a success was an influential host committee including Kim Richter, Cori Berman, Holly Cardinale, Carolina Rodman, Kalley Hoffman, Amanda Cummings, Katie Crowell, Ashley Frisbie, Loren Klein, and Robin Galanti-Solo. By night’s end, the goal was exceeded, affirming not only the urgency of the mission, but the deep commitment of a community united by compassion, vision, and action. |

| 💙 Be The First To See Our 2025 Impact Report! 💙 |
|
Our 2025 Community Impact Report is here—and it tells an incredible story of hope in action.
Together, we served over 196,000 children, youth, and families locally in just one year! That is the power of community coming together to protect, heal, and restore lives.
Since 2001, over 450,000 lives have been impacted through Place of Hope — a testament to God’s provision and your unwavering faithfulness. From expanding our campuses in Boca Raton, Stuart Campus, and West Palm Beach, to the healthy growth in our endowment, we see His hand continuing to open doors and enlarge our impact in miraculous ways. Through every safe home, graduation, family dinner, and story of restoration, we witness lives transformed — not by coincidence, but by divine design. Each story is living proof of what God can do when His people unite in purpose and compassion.
As you read through these pages, we hope you feel the magnitude of the impact we are having together in the lives of those who so desperately need hope, healing, and a brighter future.
On behalf of our entire Place of Hope family, thank you for standing with us in this sacred mission. Your prayers, generosity, and advocacy are helping to defend the fatherless, strengthen families, and bring light where there was once darkness. |
