STUART, FL – Graduation rates for Florida school districts have been released by the Florida Department of Education, and the Martin County School District is proud to announce that its overall graduation rate has increased once again, surpassing the state average.
The Martin County School District’s graduation rate for the Class of 2024 was 92%, exceeding the state average of 89.7%. This marks the highest graduation rate for the District since the 2020-2021 school year, when graduates were exempt from statewide, standardized assessment requirements.
Graduation rates for the district’s high schools are as follows:
- Jensen Beach High School: 98.1% (up from 97.1% in 2022-23)
- Martin County High School: 96% (up from 92.8% in 2022-23)
- South Fork High School: 92.7% (up from 88.6% in 2022-23)
“The steady increase in our graduation rate is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our students, teachers, administrators, and staff,” said Superintendent Michael Maine. “Ensuring our students graduate ready for their next steps in life—whether that’s college, career, or the military—remains at the heart of our mission. We couldn’t be more proud of the Class of 2024 for this incredible achievement.”
