"All politics is local" is a timeless truth about governing. At this year's State of American Business (SOAB), the U.S. Chamber underscores a similar truth—all business is local.

What's happening: Visit USChamber.com next Thursday for the streaming premiere of the 2025 State of American Business address.
  • This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from our President and CEO Suzanne P. Clark and other business leaders about the most pressing issues impacting the American business community this year.
Why it matters: Americans sent a clear message in 2024—no matter how they voted. They want more opportunities for their families and futures. Economic growth drives new businesses, creates jobs, and funds better public services through business tax revenue.

Business is local: For the first time, this virtual event will be held in one of America’s fastest-growing economic regions to illustrate what the business community needs from policymakers at all levels to succeed.
  • Where could it be? While the exact location remains under wraps, one thing is certain—this year’s program is one you won't want to miss.
SOAB gathers leaders from every corner of the private sector—from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies—to set priorities and showcase how businesses innovate, solve problems, and strengthen society.

How to watch: The program will begin streaming on Thursday morning. Sign up to get the link delivered directly to your inbox when the program goes live.
