Wow, another year is almost past and its time for Board elections again!
As always, the MIATC relies on its members to choose who sits on the Board.
Our member Nominating Committee has been hard at work and presented quality nominees, but now is the time for the general membership to add to that list
How it works…
The Nominating Committee has presented the following four individuals who have confirmed their interest in joining the Board.
Megan Cathcart - Marine Electronics Inc (MEI)
Ben DeVries - Legacy Marine
Kelly Gunn - DRG Construction
Jasmyn Tomlinson - Howden Group

Board Rules
Board terms are for 2 years
Board members must commit to attending Board meetings. More than 3 unexcused absences may result in termination of the Board role.
Board meetings are regularly held on the last Monday of the month (November & December are combined) and are held in-person with an option for virtual participation through google.meet.
This is a volunteer role. While members regularly take advantage of contacts and introductions through the MIATC, Board members cannot participate in any contract between the MIATC and their companies.
Here are the Nomination rules:
The person nominating someone for a Board role must be a member of the MIATC. A member may self nominate.
The nominee must have been a member of the MIATC in good standing for at least one year
The nominee must know that you are submitting their name for consideration
Ten (10) signatures from current MIATC members endorsing the nominee for a Board position must be sent to exec@miatc.org by May 11th at 12:00pm. Please include contact information for the endorsing parties such that the nomination can be confirmed as authentic
