Martin County School District to host 2nd annual district wide black history month event

Stuart, FL – The Martin County School District will host its 2nd Annual District-Wide Black History Month Event on Saturday, February 21, inviting students, families, and community members to come together in celebration of history, culture, and student achievement.


The event will take place at Stuart Middle School, with doors opening at 8:30 a.m. and the program beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 1 p.m.


Schools from across the District will participate by showcasing student artwork and live performances, including singing, readings, and poetry. The event provides students with an opportunity to learn from history, express themselves through the arts, and share their talents with the community in a meaningful way.


New this year, Georgia Boy & Ethel’s Famous Wings will be on site with food available for purchase during the event.


The District invites the community to attend and take part in this celebration honoring history, creativity, and student talent.
