MARTIN COUNTY OFFICE OF TOURISM & MARKETING LAUNCHES FREE A.I. TRAINING WEBINAR SERIES FOR LOCAL TOURISM BUSINESSES

STUART, Fla. (January 2, 2025) – The Martin County Office of Tourism & Marketing is launching a free three-part virtual training series focused on artificial intelligence, designed specifically for tourism-facing businesses in Martin County.

Developed with Miles Partnership, this practical, hands-on program will help local businesses better understand how A.I. can support marketing, customer service, day-to-day operations, and more. Whether participants are new to A.I. or already experimenting with digital tools, the series is designed to provide immediately actionable insights tailored to the tourism industry.

Delivered over three live, 60-minute sessions, the online training combines strategic context with real-world demonstrations and direct access to industry experts. Participants will gain a clear understanding of how A.I. works, explore relevant tools, and learn how to effectively integrate A.I. into their business practices.

“As technology continues to evolve, it’s important that our local tourism partners have access to education that’s relevant and approachable,” said Nerissa Okiye, Martin County Tourism Director. “This program helps demystify A.I. and shows how it can be used responsibly and creatively to support the long-term success of Martin County’s visitor economy.”

The series begins with Session 1: A.I. Foundations on Monday, January 5. This introductory session provides an accessible overview of the A.I. landscape, including how A.I. technologies function, where they excel and fall short, how they apply to tourism and small business operations, and key considerations before adopting new tools.

Session 2: A.I. Live Lab takes place on Monday, January 19 and offers a live, interactive demonstration of curated A.I. tools selected for their relevance to Martin County businesses. Topics include content generation, image editing, data insights, sentiment monitoring, and other practical applications.

The series concludes with Session 3: A.I. Update and Office Hours on Monday, January 26. This interactive session begins with a brief update on recent developments in A.I., followed by open office hours hosted by Miles Partnership’s A.I. experts. Participants can submit questions in advance, request mini-demos tailored to real-life use cases, and take part in a live Q&A.

All sessions will take place from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. EST. Participants will receive access to supplemental resources such as templates and frameworks, along with recordings of all sessions for future reference.

This new series is open exclusively to tourism-facing businesses located in Martin County, such as lodging properties, restaurants, boutiques, tour operators, attractions, and cultural organizations.
