March 10, 2024, is a day the Thorne family will never forget. When Firm Partner Joe Landy was brought in to handle their case, he knew immediately that the truth had to be uncovered.
That night, the Thornes received a call that their niece’s vehicle had broken down on Florida’s Turnpike. Wanting to help, the family went to the scene and began towing the car home. Chris and his wife, Kashiri, got into the disabled vehicle while Chris’s mother towed it.
As they carefully made their way down the turnpike at about 20 mph, their vehicles were suddenly rear-ended by a tractor-trailer. All three adults sustained injuries, and two of them were forced to undergo surgery. |

AJC’s Ted Deutch Shares Insights in Powerful Discussion on Israel

 Managing Partner Gary Lesser had the great honor of interviewing AJC - American Jewish Committee CEO Ted Deutch about many topics, including the recent release of the living hostages in Israel. Ted was there in Israel when the hostages were released and for President Trump‘s address to Israel's Knesset.
The event was cohosted by the Jewish Lawyers Association of Palm Beach County, the Jewish Bar Association of Broward County, and the Jewish Lawyers Association of Miami-Dade County.
A standing room-only crowd heard about Ted’s experiences on the ground in Israel, as well as the impactful work the AJC is doing fighting antisemitism on college campuses, working directly on peace and stability issues in the Middle East, and helping the Jewish people and the state of Israel. |
