WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Jewish Lawyers Association of Palm Beach County recently installed Heather Greenhill Stohlman as President for the 2026-2027 term, and honored Founding President Gary S. Lesser for two years of leadership.
The leadership transition was celebrated during JLAPBC’s Sept. 9 Installation and Reception, which included the swearing in of the organization’s 2026–2027 Executive Board and Board of Directors.
Stohlman presented Lesser with the inaugural Tzedek Award, recognizing his contributions to establishing the organization in 2024. Lesser will continue to serve as Immediate Past President.
“Building this organization alongside Heather and other outstanding leaders has been a tremendous honor,” said Lesser, Managing Partner of Lesser, Landy, Smith and Siegel – Florida Injury Lawyers. “We created JLAPBC to unite Jewish attorneys, judges and allies and ensure our legal community has a strong, collective voice standing against antisemitism and hatred. Heather has been an essential part of that work, and I know the organization will continue to grow under her leadership.”
Stohlman served as Executive Vice President during Lesser’s tenure and helped run some of the organization's most successful programs, including the Unity Passover Seder, which brought the legal community together to celebrate Jewish tradition and freedom.
“It is an honor to step into this role and build on the strong foundation Gary and the Board have accomplished,” said Stohlman, Managing Partner of Greenhill Stohlman. “I look forward to creating more opportunities for our members to connect and expanding JLAPBC’s impact within the legal profession and throughout our community.”
JLAPBC unites Jewish attorneys and allies through a shared commitment to the legal profession, mutual support and Jewish heritage. The organization fosters connection within the legal community, advocates for religious freedom, and promotes justice and integrity while fighting antisemitism and intolerance.
