Girl Scouts help bring girls’ dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them. To further align our mission, Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida created the Emerald Awards Ceremony and Luncheon to honor women in Martin County who are true role models for today’s girls and embody the characteristics of today’s problem solvers, dreamers, changemakers, and doers. In addition, a Lifetime Achievement Award for Philanthropy will presented to a woman who has demonstrated outstanding civic engagement and charitable support throughout the community.
