To further align our mission\, Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida created the Emerald Awards Ceremony and Luncheon to honor women in Martin County who are true role models for today's girls and embody the characteristics of today's problem solvers\, dreamers\, changemakers\, and doers. In addition\, a Lifetime Achievement Award for Philanthropy will presented to a woman who has demonstrated outstanding civic engagement and charitable support throughout the community.
