Dear Fellow Floridian,
Today, Ann and I wish the Jewish community throughout Florida and across our nation a happy Rosh Hashanah!
As your U.S. Senator, I am proud to stand with Israel and the Jewish Community, and I thank you for your commitment to uniting people to do the same. In Florida, we are blessed to be home to many vibrant Jewish communities. Florida will continue to shine a light on and condemn antisemitism in all forms, and always stand resolutely with Israel and our Jewish communities.
Throughout history, the Jewish people and our close friend Israel have faced great adversity and persecution. We saw it with the October 7th terrorist attacks and the alarming increase in antisemitism in the United States and around the world that has followed. It is disgusting and, as your Senator, I am committed to working with President Trump, our nation’s most pro-Israel president ever, to condemn antisemitism at every turn.
Again, I send my best wishes to Florida's Jewish community this Rosh Hashanah. May the Lord be with you and your families as you celebrate the new year. Shana Tova!
