Stuart, FL – The Martin County School District (MCSD) is excited to welcome future students and their families to our upcoming Kindergarten Blast Off orientation events! These events are designed to provide families with all the information they need to prepare their children for success in kindergarten and beyond.
Parents and caregivers of children who will be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2025, are invited to attend Kindergarten Blast Off at their home-zoned elementary school at 5:30 p.m. on February 11, 2025.
Beginning February 11, MCSD will officially open registration for kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year. During the event, families will have the opportunity to:
- Tour their child’s future school.
- Meet the school’s leadership team.
- Visit a kindergarten classroom.
- Learn more about how to prepare their child for success in elementary school.
District staff will provide valuable information on school meal programs, transportation services, Extended Day (after-school care) opportunities, and the enrollment process for MCSD’s high-performing schools. Parents and caregivers will also have the chance to ask questions and receive enrollment assistance during the event.
Families are encouraged to view the Martin County School District’s attendance boundary maps to confirm which elementary school their child will attend based on their residential address. A list of the documents required to enroll a child in kindergarten can be found on the District’s website.
In addition to kindergarten registration, the Martin County School District will begin accepting registrations for incoming Volunteer Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) students on February 3, 2025.
