Ian Price
Please join us in welcoming Ian Price to the Gulf Stream Council team!
Ian will be joining the council as a District Executive serving the Everglades District. He brings with him more than four decades of Scouting experience, both as a Scout and as a dedicated volunteer leader.
Ian first joined Scouting in 1984 as a Tiger Cub with Pack 606 in the South Florida Council. He continued through Cub Scouting, earned his Arrow of Light, and crossed over to Boy Scout Troop 186. In 1993, at age 15, Ian earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
After stepping away from active Scouting for several years, Ian returned in 2018 when his family became involved with Pack 335 in the Gulf Stream Council. He served as a Lion Den Leader, Assistant Cubmaster, and Cubmaster before moving into troop leadership.
Today, Ian serves as Scoutmaster for Troop 336, Chartered Organization Representative for Pack 335, and Cubmaster for Pack 202. He has also served as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troops 4336 and 336 and as an Interim Cub Scout Assistant Roundtable Commissioner.
Ian is a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow, has completed Wood Badge and is currently working his ticket. His Scouting recognitions include the Cubmaster’s Key, Scouter’s Training Award, District Spark Plug Award, and Valuable Scouter Award.
In December 2025, Ian also co-founded the Jewish Scouting Alumni, where he currently serves as Vice Chair.
More than 40 years after first putting on a Cub Scout uniform, Ian continues to give back to the program that had such a meaningful impact on his own life. His goal is to help today’s Scouts experience the same opportunities, friendships, and life lessons that Scouting gave him.
We are excited to welcome Ian to the Gulf Stream Council team and look forward to all he will bring to the Everglades District.
