Martin County Utilities Repairing Water Main Break in Palm City, Boil Water Notice Issued

Martin County Utilities Repairing Water Main Break in Palm City
Boil Water Notice Issued
STUART, Fla (September 14, 2022) – Martin County Utilities crews are on site working to repair a water main break in Palm City. As a precautionary measure, once the water has been restored, impacted residents and businesses should boil water used for cooking, drinking, making ice, soda machines, brushing teeth or washing dishes for the next 48 hours. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
Following restoration of water service, samples of the water will be taken. When the results
indicate the water is safe for use, the boil water notice will be rescinded. Sampling must
continue until two consecutive samples show no contamination. Updates will be provided as available.
We regret any inconvenience that this temporary interruption of service may cause.
