NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP - SEPT. 10
Neighborhoods: Windemere, The Pines and Bahama Terrace


Attention communities of Windemere, The Pines, and Bahama Terrace, the September Neighborhood Cleanup is all for you. The date is Saturday, September 10, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

City of Stuart sanitation trucks will crisscross these neighborhoods to collect bulk items at the curb, such as appliances, furniture, miscellaneous trash, and yard waste.       

Household hazardous waste, such as paints, oils, and cleaners, may be dropped off for proper disposal to the Martin County HazMobile, which will be conveniently located on Windemere Drive just inside the The Pines subdivision. Electronic Waste (E-Waste) will also be accepted at this temporary location or can be dropped off at the permanent E-Waste collection receptacle on Georgia Avenue.

Central Parkway Lane Closures Sept. 12-23, 2022

 
Temporary lane closures on the north and south sides of S.E. Central Parkway in the vicinity of 410 S.E. Central Parkway, Stuart, FL 34994 will begin on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, and end Friday, Sept. 23, 2022., due to construction.

Traffic will be diverted from one side of Central Parkway to the other side to create a two-lane road from 7 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

City of Stuart City Hall and Haney Creek Park Public Restroom Closures Sept. 12–13


The public restrooms at the City of Stuart City Hall, located in the eastern parking lot at 121 S.W. Flagler Avenue, Stuart, FL, and Haney Creek Park, located at 391 N.W. Baker Road, Stuart, FL 34994, will close for refurbishment Sept. 12-13, 2022, and will reopen Sept. 14, 2022.

Portable toilets will be available at both locations during refurbishment.

New City Commissioners will be sworn in at the next City of Stuart Commission Meeting on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022..
