CITY OF MIAMI, AUGUST 2, 2022 -

This past weekend in West Palm Beach, Florida at the FCS Annual meeting and CE Conference, The Florida Chiropractic Society had a changing of the guard, electing a new President, Dr. Brian Moriarty, and new Vice President, Dr. Josh Freemyer.

Dr. Brian Moriarty has served as an FCS board member for the past 7+ years, including the past 4 years as the FCS Vice-President. Last year, Dr. Brian was awarded the 2021 FCS Chiropractor of the Year, one of the FCS's highest honors.

Dr. Josh Freemyer has served the FCS Board for the past 4 years and has represented the FCS at the state board meetings and served in many FCS Board committees. Dr. Josh brings much knowledge and experience to the leadership of the FCS.

Outgoing President, Dr. Eddie Martinez was honored with the BJ Palmer Service Award at the PAC luncheon for his 4 years of service as President of the FCS. The FCS also welcomed a new board director, Dr. Michael Stratton from Lakeland, Florida and said goodbye to a long time board member, Dr. Lucas Matlock.

Dr. Lucas Matlock has unconditionally served the Florida Chiropractic Society for over 17 years. He has given and served as a volunteer, board member, PAC Chair, and President. The FCS is very thankful of Dr. Lucas' contributions to the Society and for being a leader in the FCS for so many years.

Dr. Eddie Martinez concluded his 2nd term as President after serving as Vice President and board member since 2012. Dr. Eddie will continue to serve the Florida Chiropractic Society as Immediate Past-President and will continue to work alongside our new President and Vice-President.

The Florida Chiropractic Society's Board will continue to work together to achieve its goals, serve our members, bring changes beneficial to the chiropractic profession in 2022, and sincerely thanks its members for their continued support through the years.
