Utilities Customer Service Office Closed 08/01
 
Due to a computer system upgrade, the Martin County Utilities Customer Service Office will be closed on Monday, August 1.
To make a payment on this date, visit www.onlinebiller.com/martincnty/.
The office will reopen on Tuesday, August 2.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Public Open House for Potential Improvements to Witham Field
 
Martin County is developing a new airport master plan for Witham Field and will host a public open house on August 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. to solicit input for potential improvements to a parcel on the corner of SE Monterey Road and SE Dixie Highway.

Innovative Stormwater Project Underway

 
Construction recently began on NE Elaine Street and the northern portion of Indian RiverSide Park for the South Jensen Heights Stormwater Retrofit project. Martin County Public Works is using a new approach to reduce roadway and property flooding by installing drainage pipes using directional drilling. As a result, residents will experience significantly less construction disruption and savings are expected to be $1 million.

SW Citrus Boulevard Lane Closure
 
On Thursday, July 28, Florida Power and Light began utility pole installation and transferring existing utilities on SW Citrus Boulevard. This will require lane, sidewalk and shoulder closures along SW Citrus Boulevard from SW Sunnybrook Run to SW 63rd Street. This work is anticipated to be complete by September 29.
