Camp Bow Wow

Unfortunately, there is a Canine Cough outbreak within Martin County. While we have been affected, we are doing all we can to sanitize, clean, and keep our Campers safe. Please keep a close eye on your pup and look for the symptoms of Canine Cough, including a honking cough, watery eyes, nasal discharge, lethargy, and loss of appetite. If your Camper is exhibiting symptoms, please refrain from bringing them to Camp until they are cleared by their vet or have been isolated at home for at least 14 days and are no longer symptomatic. Many cases will clear on their own but antibiotics from the vet can help speed up recovery.
As we have seen in recent years, we can do all we can to sanitize, clean, and get vaccinated, but it is not a 100% guarantee against any disease. We do not make Canine Cough and we do not give it to our Campers. It is spread like a cold or flu between dogs in shared spaces, just like with people. We are doing all we can to stop the spread and continue our daily deep cleaning routine that we practice 365 days of the year. We will be cancelling our Water Park Wednesday Enrichment until we feel it is safe to continue. We appreciate all of our Pet Parents for being so patient and understanding in this time and hope this passes through quickly.
