JULY IS PARKS AND RECREATION MONTH!
Martin County Parks and Recreation celebrates this month with the We Rise Up Challenge! We challenge you to visit the parks listed on the Challenge Card, find the We Rise Up poster, and scan the QR code to discover the code word for each park. Participants who discover at least 7 of the 9 code words and submit photos to the Parks and Recreation Department will get a chance to win cool prizes!

Looking for something for your teen to do these last few weeks of summer? The Teen Camp at Langford Park still has spaces available from July 11th through July 29th! This camp is FREE, through the support of the Children's Services Council of Martin County, and fun activities are scheduled for the next couple of weeks including: trips to the Sailfish Splash Waterpark, Florida Oceanographic Center, Elliot Museum, Mets baseball game, and other fun activities such as bowling, kickball and volleyball tournaments, and more!
*Participants must meet certain criteria: resident of Martin County, attend a Martin County school, and demonstrate financial need. Sailfish Splash Waterpark offers swimming classes that are tailored to the needs of each child, so that he or she can progress at a comfortable pace. All sessions include eight 30-minute group classes Monday-Thursday.
UPCOMING SESSIONS:
Session 4: July 11 through July 21
Session 5: July 25 through August 4
SCHEDULE:
Parent and Toddler (6 months - 3 years old):
- 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Child (3-5 years old):
- 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Child (6-8 years old):
COST:
$75.00 for eight 30-minute group classes.
