Position Summary:
 
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to sell and service insurance in the Treasure Coast area.  This role is responsible for providing outstanding service and support to our commercial lines clients, including quoting new business, answering policy inquiries and processing changes for existing customers, handling renewals and reporting claims. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and a solid understanding of commercial insurance products such as general liability, commercial property, commercial auto, workers compensation and umbrella policies.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Quote and bind new business.
  • Manage an existing book of business consisting of large and small accounts, including remarketing as needed.
  • Process policy changes and endorsements.
  • Answer billing inquiries and coverage questions.
  • Prepare and review renewal documents and proactively reach out to clients regarding upcoming renewals.
  • Document all client interactions and maintain up-to-date records in the agency’s management system.
  • Report clients’ claims and provide assistance during the claims process as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with agency procedures and carrier guidelines.
Qualifications:
 
  • 2-20 or 4-40 license required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years commercial insurance experience preferred.
  • Proficient in using agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
