Account Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Account Manager at our Guru Benefits and Payroll. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical ability, high emotional intelligence, excellent organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, strong ethics, and a positive attitude.
Guru Benefits and Payroll helps small businesses by implementing fully integrated benefit packages for their employees. Our number one goal is to go over and above for our clients.
This Account Manager opportunity will involve working directly with customers and account executives on all areas of group health plans and payroll for clients ranging from 2 to 500 employees.
The Account Manager roles also include (but are not limited to):
- Involvement with all types of employer group benefits (e.g. medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA, FSA, etc.).
- Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure their satisfaction with our products and services
- Provide support to Account Executives:
- Development of renewal exhibits with plan design analysis & contribution modeling
- Preparation, release, and analysis of RFPs
- Census compilation
- Internal online enrollment site management and transaction processing
- Carrier online enrollment site transaction processing
- Claim resolution and other problem-solving areas
- Bill audits
- Prepare employee benefit open enrollment materials.
- New carrier implementation for clients when necessary.
- Work to support clients throughout the entire plan year.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-up
- Identify new business opportunities and cross-selling opportunities within existing client base
- Monitor and analyze industry trends to ensure that our products and services remain competitive
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies
- Strong technical ability and knowledge of health insurance products and services
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to build positive relationships with clients
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong ethics and a positive attitude
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a portfolio of clients
- Experience in the health insurance industry is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
