IT Technician (Remote/Onsite)

2JData is looking to hire qualified IT technicians for full-time remote and onsite work.

· Resolution of inbound technical calls and tickets quickly, professionally and efficiently

· Work Cooperatively with our team and any outside technical advisers/vendors

· Follow company procedures and deadlines

· Technically skilled with good problem solving abilities

· Experience in computer networks and systems maintenance

· Proficient in database understanding and software installation

· Repairing and replacing damaged hardware

· Troubleshoot, diagnose, upgrade and repair PC's, Servers, Laptops, LAN's/WAN's, Wireless Routers, Printer's, etc.

· Strong Operating System skills regarding troubleshooting

· Knowledge software such as Office 365, Exchange/Outlook, System Recovery, diagnostic utilities and more

· Experience with Remote Terminal Software; Teamviewer, LogMein, Connectwise

· Must demonstrate good judgment, interpersonal and organizational skills

· Knowledge of networking, routing, and switching protocols and proper network design infrastructure.

· Skilled in planning, organization, and decision making. (Project Management Mindset)

· Skilled in oral and written communication.

· Able to effectively communicate with customers, clients, and the public using a telephone, face to face, one to one setting, or using data network systems.

· Able to produce written documents clearly with organized thoughts using proper sentence construction, punctuation, and grammar.

· Able to comprehend and make inferences from written material.

· Able to enter data or information into a terminal, PC or other keyboard device.

· Able to effectively manage multiple tasks at once.

· Knowledge of VoIP

· Knowledge of Security Cameras (IP and Analog)

· Proficient in HDD/SDD (Imaging Drives, Backing Up Drives, Data Transfers, Partitions)

· Proficient and Knowledgeable regarding Backups (Cloud Based, Local, Operating System)

· Experience with Wi-Fi Installation and Setup (Standard and Mesh Networks with Roaming)

· Proficient in Printer Networking (Connecting Printers to Server Networks and Sharing)

· Proficient with Cat Cable Wiring (RJ45 Connection, Cable Testing)


- Between 5 and 8 Years IT Experience Required (Remote Support, Networking, Hardware Implementation); Preferably for an MSP or Similar IT Structure

- Highly Skilled in Customer Service (3 to 5 Years in Customer Service Required)

- Must be charismatic with a good attitude (Great Work Ethic)

- Must be Punctual (Arriving Early to Prepare for the Day); This is Critical

- Reliable transportation (Must have a vehicle to ensure daily arrival)

- High Ability to Multi-Task (Multiple Tickets at Once or Phone Calls)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour

  • Business IT Experience (Repair and Troubleshooting): 5 years (Required)
  • Customer service: 5 years (Required)
  • Server management: 2 years (Preferred)
