Job Description Maintenance person The Village of 800 Condominium Association Inc. is seeking a maintenance person to join our team. We are a 130 unit condominium complex that consists of 10 resident buildings, a club house, pool and tennis courts on 8 beautifully landscaped acres. We are located within the City of Stuart, Fl. Job Requirements: ? Possess a working knowledge of maintenance and repair work including basic skills in carpentry, electricity/lighting, painting, plumbing, irrigation, power washing and general site maintenance. ? Possess the ability to safely use hand and power tools, climb ladders and stand and walk during the workday. ? Have a serviceable vehicle to pick-up supplies, as needed. Mileage reimbursement will be provided. Valid drivers required. Work Schedule: ? Monday- Friday 25-30 hours per week ? Must have schedule flexibility to respond to emergencies should they arise. Non scheduled work activities may be necessary at times to respond to equipment failures or unplanned events. ? During major projects, extra hours may be required to ensure proper oversight of contracted work. ? Be accessible by cell phone, with texting/photo capabilities The candidate would be responsible for the following: ? Perform all grounds and building maintenance, including oversight of any outsourced work where the Maintenance person will be the primary point of contact to ensure the quality and professional execution of the contracted services. Ensure work is completed in accordance with priority and instruction from the board. ? Perform pro active property inspections to identify problems and necessary maintenance. Bring any issues regarding violations, needed repairs, etc. to the attention of the Board. ? Encourage all residents, guests, delivery services, and contractors to adhere to current rules and policies. It is expected that the Maintenance person will remain professional and courteous when enforcing rules and policies. ? Procure materials needed to carry out maintenance activities. ? Keep supplies stocked and organized. ? Keep the storage enclosure and the workshop clean and organized. ? Provide inventory control over all tools, supplies, and facility keys. ? Coordinate activity with the Board and property manager with vendor services such as trash removal, plumber, electrician, etc. ? Perform whatever other maintenance and cleaning responsibilities may be requested by the Board and property manager from time to time. Salary commensurate with experience
