Voices for Children of Okeechobee and the Treasure Coast to share an exciting and meaningful event happening right here in Vero Beach—and we’d love for you to help us spread the word. ** Voices Abound: A Voice for the Voiceless** **Date:** Monday, August 26, 2025 **Time:** 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM **Location:** The Emerson Center, Vero Beach **Admission:** FREE – Family-friendly This is *not* your typical panel discussion. Voices Abound is an interactive, engaging night of community connection, awareness, and action—all centered around protecting our children and standing up for those without a voice. We’ll have: * A powerful keynote featuring Homeland Security, Place of Hope, and others * A myth-busting Q\&A panel on human trafficking and child exploitation * Food trucks, selfie stations, and a local resource hall * Activities and opportunities for families to connect, learn, and leave empowered **We’re also kicking off our annual toy drive that evening**—we’re asking all attendees to bring a new, unwrapped toy to help us brighten the holidays for local children in need. It’s fun. It’s free. It’s important. And it’s a great way for local families to make a real difference together. This affects our communities as a whole and it takes all of us to end it.
