Sweeping The Streets

Let's keep Downtown Stuart trash-free and the most "beautiful Seaside town in America"! Join Stuart Main Street for our first annual "Downtown Cleanup" in celebration of Earth Day, April 22. In collaboration of Keep Martin Beautiful's, Great American Cleanup. Whether you're a downtown business or a Stuart/Martin County resident who loves your Downtown, we can ALL lend helping hands to keep one of our most valuable assets beautiful and inviting, while having some fun. We’ll break up into groups and clean up discarded trash such as bottles, cans, cigarette butts, microplastics, and remove gum from sidewalks, plant new plants, and complete other small "beautification" projects through-out the Historic Downtown. People of all ages are invited to participate. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied with an adult. Wear closed toe shoes and light-weight, loose fitting clothing that you do not mind getting dirty. All supplies will be provided. We are partnering with Keep Martin Beautiful for this cleanup. Founded in 1987, Stuart Main Street is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
