Film scores by Copland and Bernstein frame works by two pioneers of cinematic music: Korngold’s witty incidental music to Much Ado About Nothing and Rózsa’s dazzling, virtuoso Concerto for String Orchestra— music forged in Hollywood, but grounded in the symphonic tradition.
